I thought that I'd give you all the quick low down on the do's and don'ts of GRAND TURISIMO FIVE
It is a great driving Sim and the emphasis is on the last bit Sim cause that's what GT5 IS A DRIVING SIM NOT A DRIVING GAME. SO IF YOU ARE A JUICED OR NEED FOR SPEED FAN YOU ARE GOING TO BE WELL DISAPPOINTED. I personally love the test track at the top gear studio bit and some of the races are top notch but I felt a big let down on the London tracks ?
As a cab driver for many years all around London, I can tell you now, the cars are too big for the road and not because the cars are too big but the roads around London I know ain't that small that you cant get two cars around the corner at regent street together, without one ending up in Burbarys shop window. So they mucked that bit right up, not getting the scale true to form and I don't care what they say, I've driven them roads all day and night and I know how wide that bit of roads supposed to be ?NEVER MIND AH ?
As far as sorting out a car for the race, well don't get me started. NO SERIOUSLY, its gonna take all poksey DAY AND NIGHT OTHERWISE!
FIRST YOU GOTTA FIND A CAR
SECOND YOU GOTTA BUY THAT CAR (IF YOU GOT ANY MONEY THAT IS) AS YOUR GETTING A POKSEY 8 GRAND FOR EACH RACE AND THE CARS START AT 50 GRAND YEAH 50 GRAND. IF YOU WANT A CAR YOU CAN WIN IN THAT IS. JESUS, I SAID DON'T GET ME STARTED DIDN'T I!

IT TAKES FOREVER - EVERY RACE. BY THE TIME YOU HAVE MUCKED ABOUT FINDING AND DOING UP CARS AN HOUR HAS PASSED AND YOU HAVEN'T EVEN SEEN THE POKSEY TRACK YET SO YOU GET MY MEANING TOO MUCH CRAAAAAP GOING ON. YOU CAN'T JUST JUMP IN A CAR AND GO RACE. NO THAT WOULD BE TO SIMPLE
ALSO THEY HAVE MADE US ALL READERS OF TONS OF DATA AND STUFF LIKE THAT, IT'S A NIGHTMARE, BUT A GOOD GAME IF YOU CAN AFFORD TO WASTE 45 QUID?
